Who We Are

Set It Off Volleyball is a 501(c)(3) youth club serving girls in grades 3–7 across the West Des Moines metro. We have grown from 71 athletes to 118 in two seasons — every grade from 4th through 7th filled to capacity with a waitlist behind it.

We keep registration fees deliberately low so cost never decides who gets to play, and we teach through SPARKS — Sportsmanship, Practice, Attitude, Respect, Kindness, Skills. Skills is listed last on purpose. Sponsors are how we hold that line.

The Three Events You'd Support

SIOV 4th & 5th Grade Tournament

Saturday, January 23, 2027  ·  Norwalk Fieldhouse

A one-day, 16-team AAU tournament we host and run — pool play into bracket play, on dedicated courts, with a live results display in the lobby all day. Visiting clubs come in from across the state, and their families come with them.

Sponsor reach: roughly 160 athletes plus families — an estimated 400–600 people through the doors. Banners, printed program, lobby display, and PA all day.

SIOV 6th & 7th Grade Tournament

Saturday, February 13, 2027  ·  Norwalk Fieldhouse

Same format, older divisions, three weeks later. Hosting our own tournaments keeps entry costs down for our families and brings hundreds of visiting families to the Norwalk Fieldhouse for the day.

Sponsor reach: roughly 160 athletes plus families — an estimated 400–600 people through the doors. Your sponsorship covers both tournaments, not one.

Serve-A-Thon

Tuesday, February 16, 2027  ·  MidAmerican Energy Co. RecPlex

Our signature fundraiser. Every SIOV athlete collects per-serve pledges from family, neighbors, and coworkers, then spends the evening in the gym serving for their team. It is the single largest fundraising day on our calendar and it funds the season directly.

Sponsor reach: every pledge sheet and online donation page carries your logo into an estimated 1,200+ households across central Iowa. Athletes and families only — this is our club's only fundraiser.

Court time is our largest expense by a wide margin. We do not own a facility — every event runs in rented or borrowed gym space. Sponsorship covers that cost first, then awards, equipment, and keeping registration fees where families can reach them.
